I ate an entire pepperoni pizza Friday night. This was after eating Greek yogurt for breakfast, veggie nuggets and edamame for lunch, some snacks, cupcakes and Dogfish Head Shelter Pale Ale at my company holiday party.
I felt especially guilty because I haven't been running like I should be, so Saturday afternoon I ran 4.5 miles. I made baked chicken for dinner, with steamed green beans and parmesan cheese. Can you believe I've never cooked chicken before? Fortunately, D told me what I needed to do before he left for the UK this week, so I didn't get food poisoning.
The weather was especially crappy today. I'd made plans earlier in the week to spend the day watching Christmas movies with one of my best girlfriends, which is exactly what I did. I forced myself to run another 4.5 miles before I fully committed my hind parts to the couch (go me!).
I'd be lying to you if I said we didn't order a pizza and I didn't eat five slices of it. I'm surprised that I haven't gained ten pounds over the last month with all of the crap I've been eating, but having weighed myself today, I'm two pounds less now than four weeks ago. Meh, we'll call it muscle loss.
