I know I'm lame, but what are you?

Yeah, I said it.

Once again, I've gone dark. Not for a lack of words or stories to share, but mostly because I'm downright lazy. Do you realize how much effort it takes to turn on the computer, type and actually think after doing just that for 10 hours already?

Anyway, a quick recap of my "vacation..."

Mosquitoes. And lots of them. That's probably the most memorable part of the trip. Imagine being stuck outside for hours with millions, upon millions of mosquitoes feasting on your blood supply. The thought of contracting malaria was a serious concern for me, let alone poor Audrey's face swelling up like a balloon from too many bites.

We did cover a lot of ground and on a positive note, did see many beautiful things. It's quite humbling to see how large and diverse this amazing country is, and I'm thankful every day to be an American.

Audrey excited to go for a ride. Little did she know what that really meant...

Who knew this place actually existed??

St. Mary Lake, Glacier National Park, MT

The bottom of Kintla Lake, Glacier National Park, MT

Thermal vent, Yellowstone National Park, WY

Badlands National Park, SD

I'm really going to try to be more disciplined about writing, friends. In the meantime, I'm going to take a brainstorming break, drink some wine and try to make friends with my neighbors.
