I'm noticing that I'm becoming more and more reliant on caffeine. I left the apartment this morning still bleary-eyed, even though I'd been awake for close to three hours, and stopped on my way into work for Red Bull. Some people may think that when you bypass the small cans and go straight for the 16oz. cans that you may have a problem - especially when you buy two and drink them in succession. The only possible problem I see is when your caffeine habit costs more than your lunch. My solution? Submit a formal request to Red Bull for a discount.
Before I reveal my caloric intake for the day, I want to let you know that I did actually go to the gym today. As in, I took the elevator to the first floor, walked over to the gym and noticed every single machine was occupied. I turned around and went back upstairs. I give up. I don't know about you, but I have to exercise on a pretty empty stomach. Have you ever tried running after eating? I either end up burping the entire time or feeling like I'm going to puke and I refuse to subject myself to such torture. Thank goodness we're moving in a month to a building with a bigger gym - maybe then I won't have to wait until after 9PM to get a treadmill.
